Qualifications:

• BS/MS Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Industry experience – Lithography equipment, E-beam Lithography, semiconductor equipment, manufacturing/factory automation equipment, process control, print technology
• Experience integrating control of hardware components using discrete, serial, filed-bus, network device communication
• Demonstrated deep understanding and experience in object-oriented software development (OOP object oriented programming)
• Demonstrated experienced with C/C++, Python, Microsoft .NET, C#
• Experience programming for Microsoft Windows OS
• Experience with Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), factory communications standards (HSMS) and equipment communications standards (GEM)
• Demonstrated experience debugging and troubleshooting skills (HW-SW interfaces)
• Strong time management skills, analytical skills, communications skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve software for embedded (single board computer) Linux and Windows platforms
• Develop methodologies and scripts to facilitate software verification and testing
• Measure (profile) and optimize use of computing resources (CPU, memory, I/O peripheral resources, etc.) and performance
• Troubleshoot complex systems that combine software, hardware and electronics; and collaborate closely with cross-functional team members (e.g. electrical, mechanical, process and software engineers)
• Innovate where needed and show leadership and ownership to get great results.
