Job Description
Qualifications :
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics
- 7+ years experience designing custom machine vision & full stack desktop applications, with at least 2 years leadership of electrical, software, systems engineers
- Technical Lead level experience using C# and knowledge of other software design tools such as .NET and Visual C++
- Ability to understand electrical & pneumatic models/drawings, as well as UL, CE and NFPA standards
- Managing up to 8 direct reports to develop solutions - electrical, software, and automation development engineers within systems department
- Engineering controls for integrated system operation of motion and IO control, laser programming, machine vision, data collection, PLC code and HMI
- Foster a team environment with other engineers, production, QA, test, materials control, contract management and sales
- Maintain and improve procedures for the release of electrical drawings for manufacturing and assembly
- Develop project schedules and report on progress to upper management to ensure on time delivery to customer
