Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- SolidWorks expert
- Biotech instrumentation experience (PCR and sequencing equipment a big plus)
- Experience with Motion control, Microfluidics, and Fluid controls systems
- Strong knowledge of GD&T standards
- Understanding of Design Control, document control systems for a cGMP environment
- Design complex electro-mechanical instrumentation equipment
- Design feasibility and testing methods to confirm system and product capabilities
- Conduct flow simulations
- Establishes equipment documentation, including parts lists, mechanical drawings, and assembly drawings
- Generate ENC and redlines
- Collaborate with engineering team as well as vendors to explore new technology for product applications
- Create drawings and models for subassembly and systems prototypes
