Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Large scale system design experience with cable and cable harness design
- Schematic capture CAD experience; OrCAD, Altium, or Zuken preferred
- PCB design and layout experience
- Experience supporting semiconductor equipment manufacturing and field service
- RS232, Ethernet, EtherCAT bus experience preferred
- 208/480VAC distribution, breakers, contactors, and 24VDC digital I/O experience
- Hot swap circuit design (LM5069, LT4231, MAX5903) and simulation tools (TINA/LT Spice)
- SAP/PLM documentation systems and BOM management experience
- Self-directed with strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Design and modify I/O and power cables, PCBs, cable harness assemblies, and modules for semiconductor equipment
- Find component replacements, test obsolete/EOL components, and drive solutions to field problem reports
- Support manufacturing and field service issues, work with cross-functional teams to solve design problems
- Conduct design reviews and check electrical drawings and schematics before production release
- Structure BOMs for new/updated parts and maintain online documentation in PLM system
