Job Description
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years mixed-signal and analog circuit design experience
- 2+ years digital circuit design experience
- High-voltage power systems, board bring-up, and signal integrity validation experience
- Analog circuit design including op-amps, amplifiers, and power management ICs
- Mixed-signal design with emphasis on noise analysis and grounding techniques
- Embedded systems and microcontroller programming
- Altium Designer proficiency
Responsibilities
- Design electrical architecture for semiconductor metrology platforms with high-voltage power systems, mixed-signal circuits, and analog front-end design
- Lead PCBA development lifecycle: specification, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, board bring-up, and first-pass success validation
- Perform analog circuit debugging, power sequencing verification, and mixed-signal timing analysis using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
- Execute board bring-up procedures including power-on testing, impedance matching, and signal integrity measurements
- Develop test plans and validation scripts (C#/Python) for analog performance verification and functional testing
- Generate design documentation including power budgets, analog design calculations, and board bring-up procedures
