Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 5 years of relevant design experience with PCI interfaces & Design of interface blocks for serial busses: JTAG, SPI and I2C
- Firmware design tools such as Verilog and the FPGA vendor tools for place and route.
- Experience with FPGA controlling board functions with Programmable Power Supplies, Pin Electronics, ADCs, and other functional blocks
- Develop a portion of the Test Controller firmware as shown below.
- Design the PCIe interface section.
- Design interface blocks for various serial buses: JTAG, SPI and I2C
- Design the DRAM controllers
- Design the bus interface block which will be used to communicate with internal
- FPGA blocks as well as blocks controlling the board functions such as the
- Programmable Power Supplies, Pin Electronics, ADCs, and other functional blocks in the channel module.
- Make sure these blocks are functional via simulation initially and then on the hardware when available.
- Work with the hardware design team and the software team to assist bring-up and driver development.
- Maintain and update relevant documentation and records as required.
