Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 years consumer products/furniture design 
  • New Product Development and sustaining engineering 
  • SolidWorks
  • Experience creating designs with materials including  Wood, upholstery, metal and plastic 
  • Interface with Asia (Vietnam & China) manufacturing partners

Responsibilities:
  • Design new products and make modifications to existing lines
  • Use phase gate processes
  • Manage 3-5 projects of varying complexity concurrently
  • Work with stakeholders and oversees partners to ensure DFM and FMEA are performed and met
