Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Mechanical Engineering
- 10 years consumer products/furniture design
- New Product Development and sustaining engineering
- SolidWorks
- Experience creating designs with materials including Wood, upholstery, metal and plastic
- Interface with Asia (Vietnam & China) manufacturing partners
Responsibilities:
- Design new products and make modifications to existing lines
- Use phase gate processes
- Manage 3-5 projects of varying complexity concurrently
- Work with stakeholders and oversees partners to ensure DFM and FMEA are performed and met
