Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- BSME
- Creo/Pro/E Preferred and Must have recent experience with complex surfacing and parts, assemblies and drawings for high volume consumer electronics
- 7+ years leading Product Design from concept to production
- the design and tooling of plastic injection molding and metal enclosures for wireless consumer products
- Must have understanding of analysis including: thermal, stress, and tolerance analysis (tests are done outside but must know how to interpret data & how it affects designs and changes )
- Must have consumer electronics with smart devices, IoT, connected home devices
- Deep expertise in product design, wireless connectivity and RF engineering
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Mandarin is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the design, testing, performance, documentation and production of wireless security camera products
- Design documentation and ODM management
- Work with Product Design team, Operations, Product Marketing, Industrial Design and ODM partners to design new products or customization of existing products
- Lead projects to ensure goals of performance, cost and schedule are met
- Work closely with 2nd and 3rd tier suppliers
- Manage outside consultants and fabrication vendors
