Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Master and PhD a plus
  • Strong pedigree in consumer electronics
  • SolidWorks
  • FEA experience highly desirable ( stress, durability and thermal)
  • Experience with Injection Molding, sheet metal and soft goods
  • Experience with electronic packaging 
  • Experience dealing with Overseas manufacturing vendors and First article inspection
  • Must have seen a product go from concept to prototype to high volume manufacturing
Responsibilities:
  • Design next generation product ( including injection molding design and electronic packaging)
  • Perform FEA and design prior to prototyping
  • Travel to overseas manufacturing vendors to ensure proper manufacturing ramp up
  • As a lead in the group, mentor younger engineers
  • Collaborate with Industrial design team to shape the look and feel of new products
