Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing engineering role, preferably within the construction, fasteners, or structural solutions industry.
- Strong understanding of masonry construction, seismic retrofit principles, and structural detailing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients within the masonry building retrofit, restoration, and associated construction sectors.
- Develop and nurture relationships with structural engineers, architects, contractors, building owners, and other key stakeholders involved in masonry projects.
- Present products and seismic retrofit solutions through tailored presentations and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with the in-house engineering team to understand client needs, provide technical guidance, and develop customized solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities within the masonry and structural engineering industries.
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
- Represent company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies, marketing materials, and product positioning.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback.
