Job Description

Qualifications 
  • Bachelors in Engineering required 
  • 5+ years of Aerospace experience in design analysis 
  • Experience in engineering/scientific programming languages, e.g. Python, FORTRAN (required), MATLAB 
  • Finite element modeling - LS-DYNA
  • FEA pre and post processors, HyperWorks is preferred
  • Trajectory analyses tools, and post-test analysis of data
  • CAD tools, AutoCad and Solid Works is preferred
  • Active Security Clearance Preferred 
Responsibilities 
  • Perform trajectory and loads analyses using commercial and in-house codes as well as write new simulation code
  • Rapidly solve transient dynamic problems through analysis and test
  • Perform aerodynamic decelerator recovery system configuration development
  • Support development of design capabilities 
  • Guide test configuration and architecture to support design analysis requirements
  • Perform flight test data reduction, analysis, and interpretation
  • Interface with program managers, customers, and vendors
