Technical Writer

Job Description

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA preferred 
  • Experience in Technical Writing for Hardware and Software products
  • Adobe tools (Framemaker, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), MS Office
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and distill technical information and translate it into documentation for installers and customers
  • Strong skill set in written and verbal English (Grammar, composition)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product managers to develop hardware installation manuals, reference guides...etc.
  • Gather technical information from subject matter experts and develop technical specifications, user manuals, installation guides, service manuals, release notes
  • Support the development of Technical Documentation Processs & Projects
  • Work with team members to update an ensure accuracy and clarity across all documentation
