Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- AS in Electronics
- Minimum of 5 years of technician work experience in electronics / engineering labs.
- Proficient in use of lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and data loggers.
- Proficient solder rework / repair of PCBAs (smallest component is 0402).
- Proficient at crimping wires and assembling cables.
- Familiarity with IPC (Institute for Printed Circuits) workmanship standards.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, cable drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced electrical / engineering technician capable of troubleshooting, testing, repairing, flashing, and assembling electrical systems.
- Use electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and data logging devices to test Brooks designed electronics.
- Follow root cause analysis processes to troubleshoot hardware and provide clear summaries to engineering or manufacturing teams.
- Perform rework and repair of Brooks designed electronics including testers and electronic control units.
- Solder electronic equipment and build electrical harnesses.
- Assemble electronics according to detailed specifications for engineering and validation testing.
- Conducting technical tests and analysis to support engineering projects.
