Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- High school diploma or GED and six months to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Vocational-technical training or equivalent is desired
- Must be able to read and understand basic electrical/electronic schematics and diagrams
- Must be able to read and understand basic mechanical blueprints
- Ability to apply technical skills in an effective manner
- Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to use verbal and written communication
- Ability to work under reduced supervision and complete assignments meeting project-specific requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and use material handling equipment
- May be required to travel to customer facilities for installation and start-up support
- Team-oriented with ability to train co-workers and foster positive working environment
Responsibilities:
- Build, test, and repair electrical and mechanical sub-assembly components and systems for robotic and factory automation systems
- Build assemblies and systems by providing manufacturing support, including prototype assemblies, as schedule dictates
- Organize and plan assigned tasks and workflow, and liaise with other departments to meet quality, delivery, and production goals
- Utilize and maintain ISO procedures, work instructions, and documentation, and recommend improvements in quality and productivity
- Complete all departmental technical training programs including automation qualification requirements and package automation equipment for safe transport to customer sites
