Job Description
Qualifications:
- Technician level qualification (Degree in relevant scientific or engineering discipline), BS preferred
- 3+ years of experience in technical field, 5+ years with focus on testing preferred
- Safety conscious with familiarity with electrical safety best practices
- Automation experience
- Basic Python programming knowledge
- Experience working with line voltage systems (240 VAC)
- Jira and Jama experience
- Experience with Linux and command line
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems
- Strong communication skills for documenting issues, troubleshooting steps, and advising leadership on risks and benefits
Responsibilities:
- Implement test campaigns and design specific test plans to fully exercise electrical panel products and verify system functionality
- Run release testing on new firmware and add new regression test cases in response to new bugs
- Document issues and troubleshooting steps as they arise, and communicate with team members as changes occur
- Advise leadership on risks and benefits of various courses of action
- Create test infrastructure to enable testing, verification, and automation, and implement best practices in testing and automation
