Test & Development Engineer
Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3 to 5 years of test engineering, product development, or hardware engineering experience
- Experience with mechanical testing, electromechanical systems, and prototype development
- Knowledge of verification, validation, qualification, and acceptance testing
- Experience with SolidWorks, test fixtures, jigs, tooling, and mechanical design
- Knowledge of Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, DAQ systems
- Experience working under ISO 9001 or other regulated quality systems
- Experience with root cause analysis and failure investigations
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification, qualification, and production test plans for mechanical and electromechanical hardware
- Design and build test fixtures, tooling, and support equipment for product development and validation
- Perform root cause analysis, failure investigations, and design verification to improve product reliability
- Support prototype builds, early production, manufacturing, and quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams throughout product development
