Job Description
Qualifications:
- BSEE
- At least 5+ years of experience in optical design or manufacturing.
- PAM4 testing experience required.
- SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other simulation software experience.
- Hands-on experience with test development projects and volume manufacturing, with an understanding of the equipment and materials used in semiconductor & photonics industries.
- Opto-electronic industry experience required
- Strong understanding of process control, FMEA & statistics.
- Experience writing test specifications, reports & production documentation.
- Experience with SAS-JMP/Minitab or similar.
- MS Office experience
- Lead the development and transition of various test systems (electrical, RF, optical) from prototyping to high-volume manufacturing.
- Shape technical roadmaps for new product testing, assessing risks and opportunities for different strategies.
- Oversee the qualification and continuous improvement of test stations and processes.
- Define project scope, resources, timelines, and potential solutions for test development initiatives.
- Analyze and report on test project outcomes, focusing on their impact on product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to support new product introductions.
- Design, execute, and interpret Design of Experiments (DOE) for both development and production.
- Optimize data management and reporting for enhanced efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance electrical test processes across a diverse product portfolio.
- Implement best practices and conduct audits to proactively ensure quality during technology ramps.
- May include supervisory duties for engineering or technical staff.
