Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering equivalent experience – 5 years related experience
• PC literate, MS Office, Databases
• Engineering Test and Failure Analysis experience
• Electronic: ability to read electrical schematics, soldering skills, electronic assembly and wiring experience, troubleshoot PCB’s and circuitry down to component level, familiar with analog and digital components, familiar with power electronics
• Software: debugging experience, familiar with CAN OPEN, CAN BUS communication protocol (Control Area Network)
• Demonstrated experience in assembling, test and troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies and systems
• Experience in mechanical assembly techniques, sheet metal assemblies, fastening and fabrication for sheet metal enclosures and electrical panels
• Familiar with electrical and electronic testing and procedures (ESD practices)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support fabrication and test of electrical test equipment for battery controllers including cable harnesses, sheet metal enclosures, and electrical panels
• Support engineering in the execution of test plans, test documentation, Failure Analysis testing and documentation
• Perform non-destructive test of systems and components
• Follow test and analysis procedures to test and capture relevant data
• Support component engineering to identify component related failure
• General support of test and calibration activities
