Job Description
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required
- 2+ years of experience with electromechanical systems build for high-mix, low-volume equipment
- Prototype assembly and testing experience, data acquisition a plus
- Ability to test and calibrate precise assemblies such as optomechanical systems (concave, convex mirroes)
- Ability to test and troubleshoot at the systems and subsystems level as well as final systems
- Must be familiar with hand tools including Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, o-scopes, power meter
- Experience working in Class 100 clean room, basic laser safety experience
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Help build and test tooling for new metrology system
- Build, calibrate, and test mechanical and optomechanical assemblies at system level
- Ability to build based off of complex BOMs and manuals, diagrams, blueprints, etc.
- Candidate will also be required to maintain and qualify existing tools, return to operational functionality if necessary
- Should have good hands on assembly, troubleshooting and communications skills
