• Lead and manage a team of application engineers to develop test programs for high-volume production

• Take end-to-end ownership of the motion and force control stack, from low-level systems to high-level integration
• Develop and improve various teleoperation technologies to make operations intuitive, smooth and fast
• Develop fault-detection, collision avoidance systems, conduct safety analyses, and lead rigorous testing
• Work closely with software engineers to refine system usability through real-world use cases and continuous iteration
• Collaborate on the design of new hardware platforms and tools to improve robotic manipulation, including evaluating and recommending novel sensors

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related
• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing robotics or complex hardware/software systems
• Proficiency in C, PLC's, Python, Linux, Matlab, ROS, V-model framework
• Working experience with MS SharePoint, Atlassian Confluence/ JIRA/JSM, Jama, TestRail, and Bitbucket
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills in robotic or complex electromechanical systems/equipment
• Experience in script development and building automated test infrastructure
• Expertise in reliability testing, hardware fault testing

• Utilize the V-model framework to ensure requirement traceability and comprehensive testing
• Develop test plans that align with requirements traceability, specifying test cases, test assets, and lab space availability
• Maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, configurations, environments
• DFMEA, DOE, test data, etc. to support quantitative data-driven technical assessments
• Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive test reports, documenting any defects or issues, and performing root cause analysis
• Bring up robot platform at system level while troubleshooting and debugging HW/SW subsystem and component levels
• Develop automated scripts/tools and improve automated test infrastructure for subsystem and system-level test coverage
• Prototype and test new hardware/software technologies, conducting proof-of-concept builds and functional demonstrations for stakeholders

• Support development of a new product by modifying and maintaining prototype equipment and help develop procedures and documentation as needed in support of design and R&D activities which likely have little or no written procedures.

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or other technical related field
• A minimum of 7 years of experience with Orcad PCB Design
• Experience in specifying DC to DC converters, Buck, Boost, and Linear
• Experience with motors and motor controllers
• Strong PCB layout skills with ORCAD plus experience creating mixed signal and high current designs for production
• Experience with Ethercat, Ethernet, and CAN Bus interfaces, tools, and analyzers desirable
• Experience with Verilog and FPGA design/verification a plus
• Experience with Python for scripting a plus
• Experience in product design and testing for CE compliance desirable
